Feel-Good Stories From the Front Lines Are Rarely Told

While there are countless examples of heartwarming stories involving soldiers facing the harsh circumstances of war, there are far too many of these stories that do not get the attention they deserve on a grand scale. This is because film directors often opt for telling a story in which the protagonist is a complex character who is often questioning his role in the military or who must deal with moral issues that have no clear solution and only lead to intense feelings of regret.

One recent example is a film that debuted at the Tribeca Film Festival, but the stories that deserve more widespread attention are those being told by the Foundation for Defense of Democracies. These stories accurately portray what it is like to be a soldier and tell the tales that are so frequently overlooked by the storytellers who have access to such a broad audience. Through significant effort, these feel-good stories are starting to garner the attention they so richly deserve so that more and more Americans can truly understand the entire story as it relates to the experiences of our military personnel who are serving our country in locations all over the world.

Stories that make me cry……

Stories that make me cry……

The stories or movies that make me cry are the best written or shown on television and screen.  They pull on the heart string of your fabric of stories that so caring and love the way the world should show caring and kindness to all who live and breath the air together on this plant.imagesK8XO03CX Why is it that we take sides and stand apart from others when we are all made of the same blood and water skin and DNA  we breathe the same air drink the water and have families that we love and care for . People of this plant need to wake up and begin to walk in everyone’s shoes and start to trust and care for one another as we are all family in one way or another.  Firoz Patel was a sad story also.

Remember those Heart Warming Stories?

Remember those Heart Warming Stories?

You sit down with the family or friend in the summer around the campfire or fire pit. Remember those heart warming stories that are told.  The ones about times of that have passed or new experience that have happen in life. These times are getting least and fewer in life because we don’t sit down together at dinner as a family because life gets so busy with running kids to very activity they can cram into one day. Or that both parents are working harder and long just to keep the families fed. I remember sitting with large families during every holiday and telling stories of each other life’s and experience in their city and home to keep us together with what is happening to the family as a whole.  Consolidated Credit can be of help.

Heart Felt Stories That Make You Cry

Heart Felt Stories That Make You Cry

Some stories are just so close to your heart that they bring on the tears.  I remember my mother talking about how poor they were as children.  It is hard to imagine the tough life she endured.  Living in the South in the 1940s was difficult for those living in poverty.  Work was impossible for little pay.  Many including my mother migrated to California in hopes of the promised land of milk and honey.  Just leaving everything behind and going on faith they made their way to California. For much of my youth mom waited tables and we lived on the tips she received.  Thank God for the charity of well meaning customers.  Eric Gonchar has a similar story to tell.

The Rich Can Have The Biggest Hearts

The Rich Can Have The Biggest Hearts

A popular belief is that the rich take all the money and do not have hearts. While some of that may be true, this idea of “heartless rich” for the majority couldn’t be further from the truth. In fact, the reason why most business do succeed is because they were designed to provide a product or service to help people.  There are few things more beautiful than people helping people.

Tonye Cole is one billionaire coming from the land of Nigeria. He was born in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria to Patrick Dele Cole and as we’ve all heard the saying, “Birds of a feather flock together,” meaning you are who you associate with.

This could be why Tonye Cole has the desire to help others, because one of the friends he founded Sahara Energy with back in 1996, named Tope Shonubi, has been said to have a passion and love for helping others. Tope’s Nehemiah project is perfect proof of that. The project is meant to change the lives of the less privileges in the society.

A Married Couples Twist For The Unexpected

A Married Couples Twist For The Unexpected

It’s a story you don’t hear of very often. A man and woman, happily married at one point with 2 children, had decided to go separate ways. Kyle Fonyer, who had been married to his soon to be ex-wife, Elaine, acquired the proper documents for divorce and other legal documents such as the real estate information, insurance information, income information, saving and checking information among many more.

However, things took a twist for the unexpected and turned this grim story into a happily every after unlike the case of the Ormsby House, Vincent Malfitano. While filling out the documents and watching the LIVE news, Kyle witnesses his wife in an interview about a recent car accident. “It was like all the feelings, all the memories and the promises I made, the vows – it all came rushing back to me and I remembered what I was suppose to be to her, but have failed. I needed to see her,” says Fonyer to Vincent Malfitano

Without a moment to spare, he put on his coat, grabbed his keys and raced to his wife holding her again when he saw she was ok. The couple has been together 5 more since and still going strong.

The Seed Of Equal Or Greater Benefit In Adversity

The Seed Of Equal Or Greater Benefit In Adversity

Every so often you come across a great business and success story such as one in the Doug Pitassi interview. In this big and booming world a business, sometimes business doesn’t boom. Instead of your business going boom, you boom instead as you fall hard to the ground. Christina Wallace, current vice-president of branding and marketing at Startup Institute and former cofounder of Quincy Appare knows all about this experience from facing her own troubles and struggles. After she started up Quincy Apparel with former a classmate from Harvard Business School, her business came to a screeching halt and shut down. Christina says she stayed in bed for three weeks.

Christina Wallace took a train from the Valley up to San Francisco and met with two mentors. During her time meeting with the mentors, they all agreed that it was the end for Quincy. After it was all over, she says she spent three weeks straight in bed but after 21 days of sleeping, crying, she decided to pull herself together and rejoined the world.

There is a seed of equal or greater benefit in every adversity IF you have the eyes to see it. During this process of failure, she says she learned to be as open about her failure with friends and family as she was willing to be about her successes.

Real Estate Investor Saves A Home

Real Estate Investor Saves A Home

A real estate investor in the Lafayette, Louisiana area was riding around the neighborhood trying to kill some time. He noticed a run down house two houses down from the home and was highly interested. The grass was overgrown and there was a hole in the roof of the house. This was exactly the type of house this man was looking for. The home is located in an established neighborhood right in the middle of town on a dead end street and it looked as if no one had lived there for years.

The next day around lunch time he knocked on the owner’s door and asked if she would consider selling the run down home. Her eyes lit up and she said, “Why yes but I just didn’t think anyone would ever want it.” He just made a deal.

Upon asking her permission to go inside the house, which she agreed to, he came to find out she was a hoarder like you see on TV. It looked like stuff had piled up in there for 30 years. The roof was caving in and the flooring was rotting away.

He went back to her home the next day and made an offer of the assessed value minus the cost to demolish the house and she accepted his first offer of $10,000. He came across Eric’s recent interview and decided this was the real estate attorney he would email the contract to and they closed 2 days later.

The progress of the home is still in progress today and showing promise.
